Back in stock! And some thoughts on win-win situations.

After being sold out of our decks for the last month, I'm very pleased to announce that we are back in stock! 

As a small business, it's both a huge amazing blessing to have sold out and while simultaneously extremely frustrating. Like most things with this project (and life), there's always an opportunity, even in the things that might seem less than ideal at first glance. This month, that opportunity has been learning forecasting and anticipating lead-times with our manufacturer. It also gave me some time to reset and get creative on some new products and items that will be coming out in 2021. 

Though it may not seem like it at first, most things in life are a win-win. There's the good ol' "win"; that thing we want, the goal working out, level completed, mission achieved. Then there's the less obvious "win", the one that maybe at first hits like a loss or a struggle. The road bump. The unexpected hurdle. The missed deadline, the disappointment, the challenge. Whatever it is, this too is a win. It's an opportunity to grow. It's the Universe looking out for you, setting you up for something better, putting you in the right place at the right time for something else, a surprise plot twist, or an unexpected comeback. Even though we can't see it, there's a plan and a reason for everything, even if that is simply learning and growing. 

As we head into this week, I invite you to join me in this mindset shift challenge. When something comes up that does not immediately feel like a “win” - take a moment and consider the good sides, the potential silver linings, the lessons or growth opportunities, and all the ways the universe may actually be conspiring in your favor.
