The Weekly Boost - 8.16.21

Theme for the week: It wasn't a waste of time if you learned something.

The lesson learned is always the silver lining, even if sometimes it takes a little time or distance to appreciate the lesson. 

And if you don't think you learned anything, try looking a little harder. Ask yourself a few rounds of "why?" or "what feelings did this bring up, and why?" and the lesson may reveal itself. A little introspection can go a long way.  

Booster Stacks tie in to this theme - Sam and I have been working on a large project the last few months. There have been a few delays and speed bumps and rather than let it get overly frustrating, I like to step back and ty to remember that it's always just a new lesson presenting itself. Is it fun for projects to get delayed? Absolutely not. Is it extremely frustrating for my impatient and instant-gratification self? Absolutely yes. Are these valuable lessons that make us better at what we do and help us to grow and are absolutely worth learning? Hell yeah. Finding the lesson means turning those moments of impatience into gratitude.

Fall is just around the corner and we're excited to reveal all that we've been working on soon!
